Youtube ops

Youtube ops is an internal production tool built and run by Platypus Labs. It helps our team produce documentary-style videos and manage them on YouTube channels that Platypus Labs owns.

What it does

• Uploads finished videos and Shorts to our own YouTube channels. Every upload starts as private; a person on our team decides what is made public.
• Sets titles, descriptions, thumbnails and publishing status for those videos.
• Reads view counts and YouTube Analytics reports for our channels so we can see how the videos perform.

Who can use it

Youtube ops is not a public service. It is used only by Platypus Labs to manage channels we own. It does not offer sign-up, and it does not access anyone else's YouTube account.

Google sign-in

The tool signs in with Google to get access to our channels through the YouTube Data API, the YouTube Analytics API and the YouTube Reporting API. How that data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
